Reminders!
1. New Jersey Transit lots are patrolled on weekends. Failing to buy a token or display a valid permit may result in a parking ticket.
2. Permit holders wishing to list a new vehicle for permit use must provide a photocopy of the registration for the vehicle, confirming that it is registered to the permit holder or to a spouse and/or dependent children living in the same household. This must be done prior to use to avoid incurring violations and jeopardizing permit parking privileges.
3. Permit holders may use parking permits in borrowed or rental vehicles for a maximum of two (2) weeks, provided that the temporary vehicle is registered with the Authority in advance. The parking permit must be displayed at all times in the temporary vehicle. It is the permit holder's responsibility to register the emergency vehicle no later than 9 AM on the days of use.
4. Additional weekday parking is available in the Vaughn Drive Permit Lot. An attendant is available from 6:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Travelers can drive to the Vaughn Drive Lot and pay the attendant for a one-day permit only. After 11:30 AM, travelers should stop by the WWPA Offices (14 Washington Park, Building #6, Princeton Junction) and purchase the one day permit. They will be given a daily permit and instructions on where to park.
The primary mission of the West Windsor Parking Authority is to provide safe, reliable, and convenient parking, with a staff dedicated to customer needs and committed to excellence.
PERMIT PARKING FEE INCREASE TO TAKE EFFECT AT PRINCETON JUNCTION TRAIN STATION
Significant increases in operating costs including snow removal, maintenance, utilities and insurance have influenced the need for this rate increase. In 2010 we will be implementing a new parking software program which will allow permit holders the ability to manage their own account on line in addition to being able to make address changes, update vehicle information and check their status on other wait lists. Prior to this implementation taking place, we will provide each customer with the information needed to make it as smooth a transition as possible.
We realize that costs for parking remain a significant portion of your overall commutation expenses, and we remain committed to keeping our internal costs in check so that we can keep our parking rates as low as possible.
We truly appreciate your patronage.
